Ulm, 30. August 2006
From the beginning of
2006, the core range of
machines from Wolff, the
brand-name of the Uzin Utz
Group for machinery and
tools for everything to do
with flooring, has been
presented in a new design
format. The functionality
and handling for the user
has also been optimised.
This update is marketed
under the campaign “The New
Wolff”. The aim of the
change was to match the
machines to the new brand
corporate identity,
especially in terms of
colour and modern image.
Wolff, a brand name of
the Uzin Utz Group, with its
Head Office in Vaihingen/Enz
and a specialist in
machinery and tools for
professional flooring work
and subfloor preparation,
has already presented its
freshly designed generation
of machinery – the New Wolff
– this January at Domotex in
Hannover. The power,
authority and technical
superiority of the products
will be underscored by this
new design. With conformity
to the corporate image,
everything is now shown to
be made from the same mould.
Vario-Stripper Silent
– shown still as a prototype
at Domotex – is now a “fully
fledged” member of the range:
apart from the machine’s
appearance, some technical
features have also been
optimised: one special
feature is its universal
application – it
effortlessly removes all
floor coverings of PVC,
linoleum, rubber and textile
coverings up to an area of
150 square metres.
Also, the developers at
Wolff have succeeded in
making the motor much
quieter. The whisper-quiet
motor allows work to
continue even in operational
areas, such as in hospitals
and offices. Its
self-propulsion and
Pull-back-System ensure
comfortable handling. Also,
reliable work in corners and
at wall edges is no problem
– by simply pulling on the
handle, the Pull-back-System
stops the automatic drive
and the machine can quite
easily be pulled back and
re-set. As with other
machines in the Wolff range,
it is now equipped with a
height adjustable handle
that ensures better weight
distribution and stability.

The Vario-Stripper
Silent is now an
“official” member of
The New Wolff: as
well as the
machine’s appearance,
some technical
features have also
been optimised: the
whisper-quiet motor
and the
Pull-back-System
ensure comfortable
operation. |
For more than 50 years,
Wolff has produced machinery
and tools, the first forty
being in Bietigheim and now
for more than ten years at
its site in Vaihingen. In
2000, Uzin Utz AG took a
majority share-holding in
the business. In 2002, there
followed a full take-over of
Wolff GmbH and Uzin Utz AG
further developed Wolff from
there on as one of the
brands of the Uzin Utz
Group. Wolff is active
internationally with export
business being around 60
percent.
The Uzin Utz Group, one
of the leading manufacturers
worldwide of chemical system
products for flooring
technology, with its Head
Office in Ulm, is now
represented with the brands
Uzin, Pallmann, Wolff and
Sifloor in 28 countries as
well as in Germany. In 2005,
the business achieved a
turnover of almost 140
million Euro and currently
employs around 650 personnel.
