From now on, floorlayers and interior decorators on site can really speed things up when fast repairs are needed before installing new floor coverings. Uzin has brought to the market a repair compound in powder form that – mixed with water – can be used for fine smoothing and filling work in record time. In any floor covering work, the compound is ready for covering after 30 minutes. This includes surface coverings such as, for example, rubber, linoleum or PVC. UZIN NC 880 is, therefore, the fastest repair compound on the market today.

The market has wanted a product with these technical advantages for many years. With the valuable aid, NC 880, Uzin has now realised the wishes of all floor-layers and interior decorators.
The "express compound" is extremely fine and, therefore, can be used as a spotting compound or, in small areas, as a low-slump smoothing compound with a finely sealed surface finish from a "feather edge" up to a maximum of four millimetre thickness. In application, no primer is required.

Chemical conversion of moisture makes NC 880 extremely rapid-setting and rapid-drying and gives it a very high surface strength – in plain language, that means it is ready for covering after a record 30 minutes. Due to its smooth consistency it is also easy to apply and even trowel-marks cannot be seen. The surface has a distinctive finish. Another key advantage: in its practical five kilogramme plastic drum, this speedy-repair can be taken anywhere without powder from an open container making the tradesman’s car dirty.

Use without speed restrictions
The fine and very smooth NC 880 repair compound is a great advantage where trowel-marks have to be smoothed out or where defects in old or new cement compounds have to be made good in almost no time at all. It is ideal for filling small holes, defects or areas of damage. It is also suitable for skimming over subfloor joints or for repairs to screeds and existing floor constructions. Specific example: the surface has already been prepared with a levelling compound. On a chipboard subfloor, however, there are three places in the area where the self-levelling compound has flowed away through the joint.
