Ulm, 12th. January 2008 At Domotex, Uzin is sending its new high-speed levelling compound NC 172 Bi-Turbo to the starting-line.
The main objective of Uzin, the "intelligent power", was and is to continually bring innovative products onto the market that make the work of the installer significantly easier, to bring time savings and to considerably reduce the costs for the tradesman and for the end-customers.
In the field of fast
flooring renovations, this
objective has been met with
the new levelling compound,
UZIN NC 172 Bi-Turbo. After only 60 minutes, the self-levelling compound is ready to receive any type of floor covering – even in the bad climatic conditions on site that are often encountered these days in renovation work. With the help of special cements, NC 172 Bi-Turbo has been cut down to an extremely fast dying time. However, with 25 minutes, the installer has plenty of time to apply the compound with a clean finish free from trowel-marks.
Whatever mechanical loading potentials exist, NC 172 Bi-Turbo withstands them all. It effortlessly achieves the very high strength values in accordance with DIN EN 13 813, CT-C50-F10.
However, the "double turbo" product offers even more advantages: with the use of so-called high-performance plasticisers, it provides the best flow properties that leave the surface finish in top condition. The finish is uniform dark grey with no streaks.

The Level Plus Effect of the new levelling compound makes it possible: it has a high-performance plasticiser added that promotes extraordinarily good flow properties: after only 60 minutes, the self-levelling cement compound is ready for covering. |
In addition, this new premium compound has twice the absorbency and is, therefore, unique in its class. The installer can adhere sheet rubber flooring in system – for example with the extremely high shear-strength wet-bed adhesive
UZIN KE 66 – with no open time. Therefore, the installation speed is also very significantly increased. Due to the composition of raw materials, there is a so-called Level Plus Effect that affects the flow properties and also the fine surface finish. |
