For more than 50 years, Uzin Utz AG has been producing
products for the laying of floor coverings under the brand
UZIN. In the beginning, we concentrated exclusively on
laying materials for floors and parquet flooring. Not until
several years later was the decision made to extend the
product range to include products in the field of tiles and
natural stone. In order to meet the differing needs of our
customers in the best way possible, we have now decided to
create a new brand specially for tile- and natural
stone-layers. This new brand is called ”codex”, and is
concentrated exclusively on the market of tile- and natural
stone-layers.
Of course, we have not just changed the name. It is
rather our aim to support the traditional craftsmanship, and
create real benefits for genuine tile- and natural
