Whenever a user accesses a page on our website, and whenever data is downloaded, this activity is saved in a log file. This data is not user-based and, therefore, we cannot determine which user requested which information.

In detail, for every download, the following data record is saved:

  • the name of the downloaded file
  • the date and time of the download
  • the amount of data transferred
  • a report as to whether the download was successful

Not saved is the IP address of the data processor from which the request was sent. Therefore user-profiles cannot, be established.

The stored data is not evaluated for statistical purposes. The information is not relayed to third parties.

This page uses cookies. A cookie is a small text-file that the web-browser, under direction from the web-server, saves on the user's hard-disk and that contains the details of their web-searches. Cookies serve mainly as electronic memo-notes for the server, to record user-specific browser activities such as, for example, which web-sites the user visits often and for how long, or if the requested web-site should be displayed in any special version determined by the user.

Cookies cannot remove data-files from the hard-disk, or read their content or carry viruses and they are, therefore, harmless.
